Photo shoots with Lily these days are not so simple. It first starts out with me begging Lily to smile. Then it turns into me begging her to just look at the camera. Then, in the midst of me begging, the room temperature suddenly seems to increase by 10 degrees and I end up with beads of sweat all around my hairline. About that point I am whooping and hollering for my little Diva to just grin and look at the camera. It makes for a great workout but not a precious moment for mother and child.
So today, I got Lily ready for school and decided to try a few shots, just for fun. She just looked too cute in the little quilted paint smock (which had better not get ruined with paint!). I told myself, "Don't get all worked up this time. Take a few shots and keep your dignity." So, I twirled Lily in her chair about 4 times so she was good and dizzy and HAPPY, then I snapped a few photos of my littlest Valentine. They turned out cute and pink. Although she looks a little bit woozy from all the twirls. Oh well, cute is cute.
